Welcome to the Guigueno Lab! Our research combines field and wet lab work to examine behaviour, cognition, and the brain in natural populations, how they are linked, and how ecology & evolution and/or environmental contaminants influence them. We focus on spatial cognition and neurogenesis (the production of new neurons) in several avian systems (brood parasitism, migration, foraging behaviour).
